The topic for the meeting is:Why Kanban? An Introduction to Kanban and Lean Software Development
Troy Tuttle will provide a basic background on Lean Thought and how those principles form the foundation for Kanban for software development. Focusing on Lean Practices and Kanban in particular are getting a lot of focus in the agile community of late. Join us to get a feel for what is involved and how the process works.
Troy Tuttle is a developer, a Pragmatic Agilist, and a Kanban practitioner, with a decade of experience in the software development industry. He has worked in the Agile space since 2005, with emphasis in continuous integration, automated testing (TDD/BDD), improving software design and code quality, and improving the condition and effectiveness of software projects. He currently works as a Project Lead Consultant with AdventureTech Group in Kansas City.
