This month's topic is:
Modern Approaches to Website Creation (speaker: Coty Beasley)
Coty will dissect the major functional elements of web design and development. He will present new approaches to developing those major elements. He will explain how that transforms into a well designed web site and the benefits of that design. He will emphasize the benefits of the modern approaches and how it helps the user experience and maintenance of the web site.
Coty ! Beasley's BIO:
Interested in science and technology from an early age, Coty Beasley received his first computer at age seven. By studying the components, he started to figure out how the pieces fit together and drew conclusions about the whole system. Growing older, he become more interested in the concept of problem solving in technology, studying aesthetics and how society interacts with information. A pursuit in graphic design ultimately lead to managing marketing endeavors for a handful of small businesses, addressing their branding issues and finding ways to break into markets through digital exposure and print. Today he works as a freelancer and consultant for small businesses, specializing in information architecture and usability. By creating interactive experiences and infusing existing marketing with a web presence, his clients are able to gain more exposure and ultimately more targeted, quality customers. His passions are to promote informed views of t! he web community to the masses and to help progress the direct! ion of standardization in the industry.
