The meeting topic: Agile in Distributed Teams
Last month we talked about the importance of good interpersonal communication at all levels of the team to keep the development process moving. With co-located teams there are a lot of different ways to communicate. But what about distributed teams? What can they
do to make further good communications? How do different
organizations handle the project if not everyone is in the same room, much less same city or even country?
Martin Olson will lead a discussion and experience report on some of the challenges facing distributed teams and what can be done to mediate the challenges. You are encouraged to attend and share your war stories, lessons learned and questions with the group. We’ll save some time at the end of the presentation for your questions and comments about the presentation as well as agile in general.
Martin Olson is a principal at Silicon Prairie Solutions and has worked as an Agile Coach, Scrum Master and General Cat Herder since 2003.
