In case you missed it, Adobe's announced a lot of new initiatives lately.
The "Create the Web" tour will stop in Kansas City at the Screenland Crossroads on Thursday, October 4, 2012 and will feature Kevin Hoyt and Terry Ryan from Adobe! (they're buying us snacks and drinks too). Admission is FREE.
Find out how Adobe is helping move the web forward and get a sneak peek at new tools, technologies and services for web designers and developers (a lot of the new info is posted here). They're hosting a series of free events around the world to help designers and developers learn about the latest tools and techniques for creating content for the modern web.
Topics covered include HTML, CSS, motion graphics, web development and more. Adobe is helping move the web forward and gives web designers and developers the best tools and services in the world. Find out about PhoneGap Build, Edge Animate and Edge Services, TypeKit, CSS FilterLab and more!
Follow @createtheweb on Twitter for more, or visit http://html.adobe.com/events/ for up-to-the-minute details. You'll see Kansas City listed as the first stop on the tour! We plan to combine several Kansas City designer and developer groups for this special evening.
Kevin Hoyt is a platform evangelist with Adobe Systems, Inc. Passionate about engaging user experiences as he is, you'll most often find him meeting with customers, speaking at conferences, presenting online seminars, or just enjoying the chance to share ideas and brainstorm with other developers. We'll talk about responsive web design, animation, web standards, and more!
Terry Ryan works as a worldwide developer evangelist for Adobe. His job basically entails traveling the world and talking about the developer tools and technologies that Adobe has to offer or supports.
Terry says, "My major goal is to help developers using Adobe technologies to be successful. Hopefully they'll be using Adobe tools to do that, but it's important to keep in mind that sometimes they can't."
