Hello!

Did you know that the Omaha SQL/BI User group will be hosting Omaha's Second SQL Saturday on April 6th, 2013? Well, if you didn't, you do now!

If you aren't aware, SQLSaturday is a training event for just about any professional who has a desire to learn more about Microsoft SQL Server and it's related technologies.  It'll be held at the same location as the last event, Mammel Hall at University of Nebraska - Omaha.  Admittance to this event is free, but we do charge a lunch fee of 10.00 so that we can provide a lunch - not pizza! You do not have to purchase lunch if you don't want it, but we do offer it.

We have some great speakers lined up for the event such as Glenn Berry & Joseph Sack from SQL Skills and Steve Jones from Red Gate as well as many others!

You can find out more information about the event along with the list of sessions and speakers here: http://sqlsaturday.com/197/eventhome.aspx

The schedule of sessions has already been posted so go take a look!!  Please makes sure to register as seating is limited!

We are on the continued look out for sponsors so if you think you're employer would be interested in being a sponsor, please let us know!

But wait!  There's MORE!!

This year we are also doing a pre-con event on Friday April 5th at the Blue Cross Blue Shield facility.  We have 3 excellent speakers that will be coming in to do an all day training session.

Practical Self-Service BI with PowerPivot 2012 for Excel - Bill Pearson
Prof. PowerShell Or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love PowerShell - Jeff Hicks
Scaling SQL Server 2012 – Glenn Berry

Each individual session is $100 and all proceeds will be going to the user group.  You can find out more and register for the pre-con's by going here: http://sqlsaturdayomahaprecon.eventbrite.com.  How can you pass up top notch training for only $100? You can't!  Register now!  This is the early bird rate!

If you have any questions at all about the event or the pre-con sessions, please contact us at [email protected].

We look forward to seeing you there!
