The goal of the KC Crowdfunding Group is to create a community to support each other and to be a resource for those interested in having a project crowdfunded using a website like Kickstarter or IndieGoGo.  We are focused on helping projects get to the launch stage.  We are not a place for live projects to be pitched.  
Our monthly meetings will include a guest speaker who has had a project funded or has expertise in a related field like small business startups, social media marketing, website or video creation, etc.
We will also give time to 2 projects that are in development to be submitted to one of the crowdfunding sites.  This will give the creators a chance to test their pitch and get feedback from the group.
