Thank you to everyone who showed interest in helping give back to the Kansas City community!
For those who did not attend Thursday's Meetup - Learn about Google Analytics with Josepha Haden - I took a small poll to gauge interest about creating a free website as a group for a Kansas City area non-profit organization. There was a lot of interest, so let's get going ASAP, right?
If you know of a great non-profit who either does not have a website at all or has a terrible website, let me know. I plan to contact these non-profits on Monday.
I will ask that the non-profit dedicate a single person with all decision making abilities and send that representative to each of our Meetups where we discuss their website.
We need these people on the team:
• New WordPress users who want to experience the beginning to end process of creating a WordPress website
• WordPress designers
• WordPress developers
• Content creators
Every level of WordPress user is encouraged to help out! For the duration of this project, I will schedule the weekly Meetups to occur on Wednesdays at the Downtown or Plaza branches of the Kansas City Library.
If you come this week, please dedicate your Wednesday evenings (and whatever additional time you agree to) to the project until the website is complete.
NOTE - As always, we will address any issues or questions you have with your own website!
