We're kicking off the Meetup with an overview of the Xamarin Platform and how it can help you with your cross-platform development needs utilizing C#.
Starting the group with a high-level overview will help new comers and anyone that was curious about Xamarin get a basic understanding about the platform.
We'll discuss solution architectures (traditional vs. Xamarin.Forms) and create some very basic mobile apps.

Mike is a Xamarin Certified Mobile Developer and Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist who works at Bernstein-Rein as a Mobile Application Architect. He recently returned to Kansas City after a brief stint in San Francisco. While in San Francisco he worked for Xamarin as a Customer Success Engineer. Prior to that he worked at a variety of digital marketing/advertising shops in Kansas City including: Bernstein-Rein, VML, Barkley, Salva O'Renick, and SMG. In his spare time, Mike can be found working on his golf game and hoping the Royals won’t break his heart again.
