Come learn how to create a Google Map Tour using Google's Beta Tourbuilder app. There are an examples of the kind of multimedia adventure we'll learn to create at https://tourbuilder.withgoogle.com/
Google Earth Outreach Trainer Scott Lemmon will conduct a training session tailored for Brigade members. We will focus on building an interactive tour of Kansas City historic/endangered buildings, but by the time you leave, you'll be able to create your own virtual tour using Google Maps API.
Come meet and work with other civic-minded folks passionate about open government and civic tech! Hack Night is a weekly event hosted by Code for America, so come by and work on a civic project you have already started, start a new project, or collaborate with others on their projects.
Be sure and sign up at the national Brigade site: brigade.codeforamerica.org
And join our Google+ community too!
