6:00 PM
Welcome all to the fourth Vid Strut!
A VidStrut is our version of a photo walk. It's an opportunity to create something short and creative with very little pressure.
Work solo, team up with others; whatever you want!
Make it as simple or as complex as you like.
We'll have a few impartial judges choose their favorites - top three win raffle tickets and more!
6:00 - Social Time
6:30 - Quick intro, recap of NAB
6:45 - GO FILM!
8:00ish - Sundown
RULES:
This time, we're giving you the guidelines in advance!
The theme is "continuity." If you want to wow the judges, you'll probably want to pick something more complex than just showing the same person in every shot, for example.
Minimum of 4 different shots (no max)
Minimum of 2 different angles
60 seconds MAX (no real minimum)
Shots must be walking distance from the JC Nichols Memorial Fountain.
Post-production ALLOWED
Video deadline in one week. 6:00pm the 28th.
Posting guidelines will go up here after the meeting.
If you want to bring a production truck and aerial equipment... FANTASTIC!
If you want to shoot on your iWatch, that's also great!
If you have NO cameras and would like to partner up this is allowed! (Mention in the comments LFG) "Looking for group"
We'll have a book to give out for this meeting: Beyond Continuity: Script Supervision for the Modern Filmmaker

Hope to see you there!
