We will send out instructions on how to get there prior to the meeting.
I've asked a few of the Code for KC members to come demo and talk about their recent collaboration with the UMKC School of Law. The Parcel Assessment Tool (PAT) uses CartoDb to store information (relational and spatial) about all Kansas City Parcels. PAT was created to make it easy for developers to locate parcels to build upon in the area and determine the largest building envelope and parking area that can be located on a parcel based first on current zoning and then using user selected zoning. The application uses the CartoDb API to access data for the calculations and to display specific information (tax, zoning, setback, current value, etc.) about each parcel. This will be a very interesting topic!
