Hello, KC SQL Server User Group:

We
are just a couple of months away from Kansas City SQL Saturday 2015.
This year the event will be held on October
        3rd
at Rockhurst University in Arrupe Hall. We
hope you can be a part of this event and wanted to make sure you are
aware of all the ways you can participate.

1. Get
        registered.
Go to
http://sqlsaturday.com/444/eventhome.aspx and reserve your spot now. Attendance
is free. Lunch is $15 payable online when you register.

2. Spread
        the word.
Let
friends and colleagues know about KC SQL Saturday.
Download our flier and pass on the information to others
        who may be interested.

3. Submit
        to speak.
One of the
goals of SQL Saturday is to develop local speakers. Becoming a speaker
sharpens your presentation skills, gives you practice explaining
technical concepts, increases your networking opportunities, and allows
you to join in the fun of our BBQ crawl and speaker dinner. For tips on
picking a topic and writing and abstract see
Devin Knight’s blog series and Adam Machanic’s blog post. Our call for speakers closes August
        4th
so
there is still time to submit.

4. Become
        a sponsor.
It's no
secret that sponsors make SQL Saturday possible. But sponsorship isn't
charity. As a sponsor you get access to a group of data professionals
from the KC area and beyond. It can be a great way to increase
awareness of your organization's products and services. It can also be
a way to find good job candidates. Sponsorship costs range from $500 -
$1500. You can find our sponsorship plan online at
http://www.sqlsaturday.com/444/Sponsors/SponsorPlan.aspx.

We
hope to see you on October 3rd.
You can reach us with questions or feedback at
[email protected].

Thanks.

Your
        KC SQL Saturday team
