Title:  "Data Scrubbing Tips"
Presenter:   Lisa Friedrichsen

Description: Have you ever needed to convert or import data from one application to another but ran into errors?  Have you ever wanted to enforce referential integrity on a one-to-many relationship but been blocked?  In this presentation Lisa will share some common data errors and how to scrub your data so that it can easily be exported and imported to other applications.

--how to prepare an Excel spreadsheet for import into Access
--how to import a table of data from a web page into Excel
--how to share with data in an xml format
--how to fix a one-to-many relationship where referential integrity cannot be enforced

Presenter BIO:  Lisa Friedrichsen is a Professor at JCCC in the Computing Sciences & Information Technology department where she teaches database and web technologies.

Presenter: Dave Lingerfelt

In this presentation Dave will give an overview of Tableau's capabilities using a variety of data sets to present different data visualization models. Tableau is a fantastic tool for data analysis and communication.

Presenter:  Dave Lingerfelt is a Professor at JCCC in the Computing Sciences & Information Technology department where he teaches and chairs the health information systems and medical records management programs.
