Meeting Description:
With the holidays fast upon us, this will be the last regularly
scheduled evening meeting for 2015. However, we are wrapping up with a
session that should be extremely interesting to the AgileKC group.
During the last 10-15 years, we've seen
thousands of books written and many courses developed to assist teams in
implementing Agile and Lean. All have focused on implementing the practices,
principles and values primarily from a team, program or portfolio standpoint.
We've not seen much to support managers and leaders as they make the shift from
the traditional environment to an Agile environment.....until now.
The Agile Coaching Institute’s latest
courses are developed to close this gap in learning. Luckily, Lyssa Adkins and
David Chilcott will be in KC this month teaching their Coaching Agile Teams
course and have agreed to join us at AgileKC to share more about the challenges
that managers face in moving to an Agile environment and the ways in which ACI
believes these can be addressed.
