Presentation 1:
Title:  Enhance your skills as Database Developer by developing SQL queries using Microsoft Access and SQL Server
Presenter:    Caren Grandganett
Description:   We’ll write Structured Query Language (SQL) queries using Access and SQL Server.  There is a lot of similarity between the two platforms, and these skills are highly sought by employers.

Caren Grandgenett is a Database Development and Technical Training Specialist. Caren develops and maintains databases that allow clients to track their clients and competitors.  Caren also serves as an Adjunct Associate Professor at Johnson County Community College teaching Business and Technology courses.


Presentation 2:
Title: Creating a YouTube Tutorial on the Access combo box
Presenter: Lisa Friedrichsen
Description:  Have you ever turned to YouTube to get help on a technical issue?  Have you ever wondered how to make a Youtube screencast?  A screencast is a little movie of a computer demonstration using your own voice as narration.  Once created, you can edit the screencast to remove extraneous sounds, add callouts, zoom in, and pan out of the screen.   In this presentation Lisa will demonstrate how to use Camtasia software to create a short screencast to help people understand Access combo box properties and submit it to YouTube.

Lisa Friedrichsen is a Professor at Johnson County Community College.  Lisa currently teaches Access, html, CSS, and JavaScript. She is in the process of creating short YouTube videos to support all of her classes.
