KC SQL Server User Group - So you want to be a data warehouse
architect?
Friday, January 29, 2016 from 2:30
PM - 4:00 PM
The meeting this this month has been rescheduled
for next friday (1/29) at 2:30pm.
Frank Kearney will be presenting: So you want to be a data warehouse architect Topic: Most data warehouse and business intelligence developers strive to move to the next level of being a data warehouse or business intelligence architect. The problem is understanding if you are ready to make the transition. During this session we will cover the basics of making sure you have your architect toolbox is filled with the right tools as well as understanding the difference between a developer and an architect. This will be an interactive session as we evaluate data sets, how to model those data sets and what kind of questions we need to ask to make sure we fully understand the scope of the data warehouse project. ********** We will also hear from those that have expressed interest in filling more formal positions in the user group for the coming year. If you have not sent me an email ([email protected] or [email protected]) expressing interest please do so ASAP so that I can make sure we have time for you to speak at the meeting. Look forward to seeing everyone there! |
