Meeting Topic:
UX and Agile - Making it Hum

Meeting Learning
More and more User Experience (UX) is becoming a key differentiation and a critical component of solutions.  The market is fickle and the usability of a solution is just as important as the content and capabilities.  As an example consider how Yahoo is undergoing significant changes to its UX while Amazon is refining their model.

Meeting Description
This month’s Agile KC session brings in Jenny Tarwater and Chrys Sullivan to discuss the intersection of Agile and UX.  Plan on joining us to learn more about:
  • The Agile Mind-set: the focus on value, experimentation and collaboration
  • Scrum in 5 minutes: A primer to baseline our talks
  • Top 5 reasons UX fails in Agile and tips for overcoming
  • Leveraging "Sprint 0" and "UX Runway" strategies to overcome timeline and resource crunches
  • Best practices for getting more accurate time estimates from designers
  • Lean UX strategies for quick, effective user validation during cycles
  • Strategies for forming a team with UX impact
