Continuing our tradition of helping a local non-profit organization with our Photo Walk assets, this year we are going to focus our evening (and lenses) on the Strawberry Hill Museum—promoting, sponsoring and preserving the ethnic heritage prevalent in Kansas City, Kansas.
This is an opportunity to capture some fascinating photography—The Cultural Center is located in the 1887 high Victorian home, built for John and Mary Scroggs. It was one of the most outstanding examples of the Queen Anne style to be erected in Kansas City, Kansas. In 1988, it was purchased by the Strawberry Hill Ethnic Cultural Society and became the Strawberry Hill Museum and Cultural Center featuring displays from over 15 nationalities that have come together to build Kansas City.
Don't forget we will draw for the Creative Cloud annual subscription in the raffle drawing and you must be present to win!
See you Tuesday night at 7:00 pm!
Buck and Jim
