Samuel Mullen will present on ActionCable and Shashank Date will present on concurrency in ruby.

Action Cable: 

In this talk, Samuel Mullen will demonstrate one of the newest features of Rails 5.0: ActionCable. We’ll look at how each of the ActionCable components work and how ActionCable fits into the Rails ecosystem as a whole. We’ll also look at an example of an app using ActionCable and see a demonstration.

Modelling concurrency in Ruby:

Ruby 2.x comes with a few basic set of primitives which provide concurrency out of the box.  But we are not limited to just these if we want to explore concurrent programming  techniques in Ruby. In this talk I will present a few high level constructs like Actors, Channels and Futures. We will require 'concurrent-edge' :)
