Just in time for Mother's Day!
Learn basic silver-smithing techniques while making a silver band-style ring. This makes a beautiful and thoughtful holiday gift! This class (like all HammerSpace classes) is open to BOTH members AND non-members of HammerSpace, but seats are limited, so sign up before they fill up!
This class will teach you about basic hand tools, their usage and safety, and jewelry making techniques in order to create your very own individualized sterling silver band ring for yourself, or to give someone as a gift.
You will learn: sawing, texturing, ring forming, soldering and basic finishing techniques (filing, sanding and polishing).
For Ages: 10-110 years old
Cost: $40 per ring (All materials included)
NOTE: If you are making a ring for someone else, be sure to get their ring size before the class! Also, if you and your child are making just one ring together, you only need to sign up and pay for one person.
