Abstract:

You've decided that for your next project to develop a single page app.  Getting the project started was simple and quick, using Spring Boot.  After a dizzying amount of decisions you now have a suite of frameworks and tools to manage all of your JavaScript code as well.  You now have everything needed to build a slick single page application.

But what does the development experience look like now?  Can you still use the developer tools from Spring Boot, or will other tools take its place?  Are you able to test the integration of JavaScript  and Java code?  How can Spring and JavaScript tools work together to make life easier?

In Spring and JavaScript Working Together we'll discuss conventions in Spring and Spring Boot that make developing web applications quick and easy.  Then we'll look at strategies for integrating JavaScript and certain tools into a Spring Boot application with the intention of making the developer experience as pleasant as possible.
