Saturday, December 2, 2017 at 10:00:00 AM The NEW HammerSpace Community Workshop 5200 E. 45th St., Kansas City, MO
**PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS A TWO DAY, TWO PART CLASS. FIRST PART ON SAT. DECEMBER 2ND, 10AM-2PM. SECOND PART ON SUN. DECEMBER 3RD, 10AM UNTIL YOUR PROJECT IS COMPLETED**
Time to get dressed for the Apocalypse!
When you're wandering the Wastes, you need to be sure that your armor is going to do its job and protect you from all the sharp claws and stray bullets that'll be heading your way. For this workshop, we'll be making a set of basic Combat Armor (chest, back, shoulders, and legs) from the game Fallout 4 using EVA foam. We'll be going through the process from fabrication to painting. All materials will be provided.
This is a great class for anyone who is interested in learning how to make realistic looking, light weight props and costume pieces out of EVA foam, and how to paint them to achieve a true-to-character, realistic look. Suggested age: 16 or older.
And since this class is sponsored by Planet ComicCon, everyone who signs up receives the PCC DISCOUNT price for this and any PCC sponsored classes at HammerSpace!
(If you cannnot make it to the second part of this 2-part class, you can arrange a better day to come in and work on finishing your armor pieces with the instructor.)
