Caleb Hyde will expand on his short 5 minute talk from last year on complexity which can be found at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JlFrqt1Y7eo&t=10s

Abstract:
Can we develop a heuristic to characterize the complexity that we encounter in modern software systems? How do we apply such a template in managing that complexity? Drawing from engineering, human factors, and distributed systems, we identify actionable metrics to measure project complexity.
