Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 10:00:00 AM The NEW HammerSpace Community Workshop 5200 E. 45th St., Kansas City, MO
BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND! The Mini Nuke. Perfect for clearing that stubborn super mutant infestation out of the post-apocalyptic Nuka Cola factory you call home. In this all day build class, we will each be building Mini-Nuke props from 3D printed kits of parts.
As we work, we'll talk about the science and history of nuclear arms, the Fallout series, and our favorite BambCo Noodles recipes. During this class we'll learn about: finishing and painting 3D printed parts, strategies for masking and applying graphics, methods of creating textures, and the proper care and maintenance of a class 3 fissionable core*. We will be using sandpaper, spray paint, and body filler.
Please wear clothes you are comfortable getting dirty in. This is an all day class. We will meet from 10am to 12:30pm, break for lunch, then reconvene from 1:30pm to 4pm.
*Class 3 Fissionable core lecture is dependent on approval from Department of Energy, Honeywell, The FBI, and President Obama
