- TOPIC:
Is your organization protected by X, Y, and Z? Do you have vulnerability
assessments preformed that “prove” you’re protected from outside
threats? I’m here to tell you there’s always a way in, at least,
Microsoft thinks so. The latest Windows and Active Directory
defenses take an ‘Assumed Breach’ mentality, looking inward for
suspicious activity. We’ll hear a few real-world examples of
attacks against organizations that don’t utilize any malware but
instead, take advantage of weaknesses within organization’s AD
and its users. I hope to clarify where traditional defenses fail
and your penetration tests might be giving you a false sense of
security. As the perimeter is quickly dissolving, How are you
working to detect suspicious activity of your users?
- FACILITATOR:
Ryan Preston is the Security Assessments Team Lead at Depth
Security. It's rumored that he was raised by monks at a hidden
temple known as the House of Zero. He has an alert (love/hate)
relationship with XSS. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Software
Engineering from Kansas State University and is a certified OSCP
with 6 years dedicated assessment experience. Ryan has been
publicly thanked for helping identify and resolve
vulnerabilities for many Fortune 500 companies including Target,
CenturyLink, PayPal, Netflix, eBay, and the Department of
Defense.

your security concerns that you wish to bring before a host of
