On July 26, 2018 the
ISSA-KC Chapter members, and other security professionals will hold a
meeting at Hereford House Restaurant, to network and attend the monthly
chapter meeting, with presentation topic.
Speakers:
Chris Lawrence and Dustin Strayhorn
Chris is a 20+ year
veteran of the Network, Application, and Mobile and User Communication
industry. He has worked throughout those year for industry leading
Security vendors selling and designing security for all size and types
organizations. Most recently he is working at Proofpoint focusing in on
the communication channels that corporate users use to do their jobs
which includes Email, Mobile, Social Media, SaaS and other collaboration
platforms. Prior to moving into sales he spent over 10 years as a Security
practitioner building corporate networks for companies in S.E. Michigan.
Dustin has been a Security professional in the private and public sector
for several years. Dustin's past reflects deep Security knowledge,
as he was responsible for evaluating Security solutions in the areas of;
SIEM, Web, Cloud, and email, as well as providing results to Senior
Leadership. Most recently Dustin has been a Senior Systems Sales
Engineer with Proofpoint, the leader in providing protection to major
corporations and their employees, based in the central US. His
current role requires him to understand requirements, and guide his
clients for sustainable success in their deployments of Email, Mobile,
Social, & SaaS security solutions.
