Waves of Cloud: Where is Your Strategy?
Summary: Evolution
from data center virtualization to integrating cloud ecosystems has
implied a fundamental shift in how services are provisioned, managed,
used, and where data lives. Explore the current and coming waves of
computing models as we dive into the exposure of data through cloud
services. McAfee has harvested feedback from across thousands of IT
decision makers to identify the current state of the transformation
journey and make some key recommendations for a DevOps and serverless
world. Tools and software are only part of the answer. Are you
ready?
Daniel Larson's IT
career spans 20+ years and he has been working at McAfee since July 2011,
and a McAfee customer for 12+ years. In his current role he works with
customers to understand the technology they have and how McAfee can
enable them to provide better protection and lower their TCO. His primary
focus in on McAfee's endpoint protection, encryption, and IPS
technologies. He currently holds certifications as a CISSP, CCSP,
and ITIL Practitioner. Dan has held various roles and titles over the
years; primarily focused on security, infrastructure, customer support
and ITSM.
Brandon has been with McAfee for the past 7 years in various roles.
Originally from north Texas, he recently moved his family to St. Louis to
better serve customers in the region. Although he works directly with
corporations on their security strategies; he has a passion for how
understanding how various threats impact consumers and their families,
and how they can remain safe.
