Chapter Meeting DETAILS: Topic: The discussion will revolve around setting up and using a FedRamp certified Data Center and what that means. Facilitator: Major Henry R. Salmans III (USMC, Retired) of Attain is a former 4002/0602 Data Systems Officer/Communications Officer and Cryptologic Linguist. His award-winning work includes, From Technological Triage To Maturing A Collaborative Environment, presented at the DoD International Command & Control Research and Technology Symposium. Additionally, Major Salmans co-authored, From DIACAP to RMF A Clear Path to a New Framework, published in the DoD Journal of Software Engineering and adopted by the Commandant’s Cybersecurity Team. Major Salmans was Joint Staff Officer of the Year where he served as a Nuclear C2 Communication Officer on Operations Team Four and Battalion Executive Officer for 7th Communications Battalion, Okinawa, Japan. Currently, he serves as a Program Manager supporting the United States Department of Agriculture’s newly formed Farm Production and Conservation. Come prepared with your experiences, questions, and your security concerns that you wish to bring before a host of like-minded security professionals.
