Topic: The discussion will revolve around setting up and using a FedRamp certified Data Center and what that means.
Facilitator: Major Henry R. Salmans III (USMC, Retired) of Attain is a former 4002/0602 Data Systems Officer/Communications Officer and Cryptologic Linguist. His award-winning work includes, From Technological Triage To Maturing A Collaborative Environment, presented at the DoD International Command & Control Research and Technology Symposium. Additionally, Major Salmans co-authored, From DIACAP to RMF A Clear Path to a New Framework, published in the DoD Journal of Software Engineering and adopted by the Commandant’s Cybersecurity Team. Major Salmans was Joint Staff Officer of the Year where he served as a Nuclear C2 Communication Officer on Operations Team Four and Battalion Executive Officer for 7th Communications Battalion, Okinawa, Japan. Currently, he serves as a Program Manager supporting the United States Department of Agriculture’s newly formed Farm Production and Conservation.
