We have one talk confirmed, and a couple of tentative talks. Steve Simon will talk about creating research posters using Pagedown. Pagedown creates documents just like Markdown and Bookdown. The big difference is that Pagedown uses CSS rather than LaTeX to create these documents. Manipulating CSS is a lot easier than LaTeX and it is almost as powerful. The Pagedown package includes templates for resumes, letters, business cards, journal articles, and research posters.
