In June 2009, John Allspaw and Paul Hammond delivered their talk "10+ Deploys Per Day: Dev and Ops Cooperation at Flickr" at Velocity in San Jose, CA . This talk is widely recognized as showing the world what DevOps could achieve, and was eye-opening to many enterprises who were currently managing 1-4 heavyweight releases a year.

Patrick DuBois watched remotely, complained about not being able to attend on twitter, and was prompted to organize his own event in Belgium, which he ultimately called DevOpsDays.

Join us for a watch party of the original presentation, followed by a discussion about how things have and haven't changed since 2009. We'll also open the event to anyone with ~5 min ignite talks, other short form content, or open spaces.

Agenda:
5:30 - food and networking
6:00 - kickoff
6:10 - "10+ Deploys Per Day: Dev and Ops Cooperation at Flickr"
7:00 - Conversation on the evolution of devops; open floor
8:00 - Conclude

Venue and Food will be provided by Veriship

Parking instructions at the venue will be provided prior to event.

Park in ramp, which is accessible from Ward Pkwy. Walk across the outdoor circle drive area to the main building doors, look for signs. Click here for event
