Fellow .NET Users,
I know we just had a meeting last week, but it's already time for another one. This one will be epic! Carl Franklin is coming to town! Back in 2012, Carl Franklin and Richard Campbell of the .NET Rocks Podcast came to visit Omaha and we had more than 200 people attend that event. They were both very impressed with the level of excitement and interest Omaha offered. We were definitely one of the best-attended stops on their roadshow that year.
Well, Carl will be returning next Wednesday to talk about an exciting new technology from Microsoft called Blazor. If you don't think you can make it, change your plans. Your kid will forgive you for missing their event, but Carl only comes around once every 8 years (just kidding, but only a little).
The fun starts at 5:30 and food will be served by our sponsor starting around that time as well. I hope to see you there!
If you're planning to attend this event, you must RSVP. Our host will use this information to allow you entry into their facility. If you neglect to RSVP, you will likely be delayed at the entry. For more details and to RSVP, please visit:

Topic:
Carl Franklin from .NET Rocks! is hitting the road for a world-wide Blazor Road Show! In just a couple hours Carl will share architecture best practices, how to make and consume generic components, how to call JavaScript to enhance your apps, and how to implement Authentication/Authorization. He'll show you how to monitor the traffic going back and forth between the browser and the server, measure your app's memory footprint, and how to optimize it. You'll also be introduced to some exciting Blazor controls including a data grid and appointment scheduling component. Everyone gets a copy of the demo code and the Blazor controls. Perhaps most importantly, dinner is included!
Presenter:
Carl Franklin is Executive Vice President of App vNext, a software development firm focused on modern methodologies and technologies. Carl is a 20+ year veteran of the software industry, co-host and founder of .NET Rocks!, the first and most widely listened to podcast for .NET developers, a Microsoft MVP for Developer Technologies, and Senior Executive of Pwop Studios, a full-service audio and video production/post production studio located in Southeastern Connecticut.
