Title:  Source Control for Access Database Applications

Presenter:   Rob Kraft

Description:

Would you like a record of the changes you made to every line of code and every property in an Access database?  Have you ever made changes that broke a feature then wondered what change could have caused the failure?  I have a simple process to share to store changes in git.  You can track changes to your code, macros, queries, reports, and every property on every object in an access database. Since I believe it won't take long to cover that topic, I will also share a few other lessons learned such as, "How to disable all right-click menus except for copy/paste.", and "How to invoke spell-checking in your forms".

Bio:

Rob Kraft has decades of software development experience mostly on the Microsoft stack.  He used to teach classes on Visual Basic, Microsoft Access, and SQL Server.  He is currently an independent consultant that recently migrated several Microsoft Access applications to use SQL Server.  Rob lives in Lee's Summit.
