Healthcare organizations (HCOs) are being influenced by impactful drivers as a result of market trends, population demographics, pre-pandemic and post-pandemic behaviors, and operating/financial models. These organizations are responding to these evolving changes by leveraging health data in all its forms – within and outside the 4 walls of the traditional care setting. At the core of these digital transformation initiatives are AI and analytics, that put said data to work to benefit individuals, patients, providers, and health plan members.
Over the past 18 months, HCOs have accelerated their AI strategy development and are investing in people, processes, and products that will deliver on their strategy. However, the state of many AI programs in practice remains mostly at planning or POC stages – and the determination, creation, and communication of value are being worked on or in an early stage.
In order for AI-driven transformation to succeed at scale, creating business & clinical outcomes are essential. This session will provide practical and tested strategies and best practices that providers can use in their own contexts to put their data to work by going beyond automation, leveraging amplification, and ensuring augmentation via healthcare AI and analytics.
