Our group aspires to be a hub for local events in the Kansas City metro for all topics involving or interacting with emerging Web 3.0 technologies, ventures, applications, philosophy and culture. Including but not limited to: distributed ledger technologies (DLT), blockchains, decentralized governance (DAO), tokenization, decentralized finance (DeFi), non-fungible tokens (NFT), decentralized gaming, and decentralized application (dAPPs).

The other reason for our existence is for peer-based connection, enrichment, education, and coaching in order to engage smartly and safely (SMAFELY) in the current benefits of these technologies.

We have a special emphasis on discovering ways to use DLT related application to support those of us traditionally alienated from larger social institutions, for whom they are often inaccessible, opaque, inefficient, or sometimes exploitative.

We do not recommend particular products. We also do not align ourselves with any particular politic or political cause or figure. Our listing an event in the city is not to be construed as our support or recommendation, but merely a part of our mission to be a hub / aggregator of ALL related events in the city for folks to decide whether to engage with.
